This past week has been busy for us, we’ve been to Rhode Island, Massassachusets, New Jersy TWICE! I gotta say, I’m not a fan of the roads in New York or New Jersey. As far as I’m concerned the lanes are to narrow, the pavement has a lot to be desired and the people are way beyond crazy! It makes going through Atlanta a walk in the park and ya all know how much that traffic makes me squirm, LOL!!
I did take a few pictures … I’m obsessed with bridges and any body of water, so I’ve got a couple good ones (yes, I will admit, it’s difficult to take even semi-decent pictures from my phone while going down the highway in a BAT) of the Gov. Cuomo Bridge over the Hudson River. You can even see the skyline of
New York City through the haze. I LOVED IT! Jimmy & I have talked a bunch about going to NYC and doing some of the touristy things, and I’ve added it to my bucket list. That thing just keeps getting longer …
We also celebrated a graduation and Sweet 16 birthday for the Grands in TX, no we couldn’t be there with them physically, but were able to live the moments with them through the pictures taken and sent to us. I can’t begin to explain how much we miss them. Thankfully, this company gives us the opportunity to get to see them a few times a year, where otherwise I don’t know how much time would go between visits.
Speaking of Texas, Sophia is now 9 months old and has begun to show more of her unique and bubbly personality. She’s not walking yet, but pushes everything around the house. She isn’t confident enough to let go and get gone by herself, LOL! We are hoping to get back to Nacogdoches soon and see everyone. I can’t wait to snuggle this little Angel.
This coming weekend is our home time and yep, it’s going to be busy as usual there too. Lily hasn’t been to the groomer since before we were put into “lockdown” for COVID19 and she desperately needs a bath and full grooming. Daddy calls her shaggy dog and her bed head every morning after sleeping under the blankets with me is just something else. Of course, the normal home time chores of doing laundry and grocery shopping for the truck needs to happen too and in the midst of all this is some Ravyn time. I wonder if they are going kayaking or run multiple tanks of gas through her go-cart … hmmm? It doesn’t matter, she and Papa will have loads of fun times and he’ll be exhausted when we get back on the road, LOL!
Monday and today have been a challenge for me, I’m not feeling well at all. Yesterday I had a headache that would not go away no matter what I did and today, even though there isn’t a headache, I’m having one of those days where I want to do nothing but be under my blankets. I try to be strong through these moments because I know Jimmy worries about me and I really don’t want him to be distracted about how I’m doing more than he already is. Luckily we are already parked for the day (we’re running on those recap hours I tried to explain, so we didn’t have a full clock to work with today) and he’s gone inside to get food. It’s going to be an early night, we have to get up at 3AM and get back on the road by 4AM … sigh.
Welp, I guess that about covers the last week or so, I think I got you all caught up on what’s been going on in the BAT.
